Which analogue mono synth - part 2 (this time it's marimbral....)
As promised, here is a follow up comparison - this time with a tuned percussion sound using square waves. There is no agenda here, I'm just curious as to how close I can get with each synth. As before, the envelopes are critical here, in terms of how they shape the filter. Envelopes seem to be relatively selected in terms of comments comparing synthesizers - most emphasis being on the oscillators and filters - but to me they are critical, particularly on fast changes, where differences in the filter itself may not be that apparent.
